My story

I am Michelle, a qualified primary school teacher with 11 years teaching experience (5 of which were as Head of Year 6). I have also recently achieved a diploma in Life Coaching.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in teaching but in 2007 I made a huge decision to change careers. I joined the Council as the Waste Education Officer and spent many happy years delivering recycling education to schools and groups. Unfortunately, due to cuts and restructures I ended up in an enforcement role. I eventually realised this was not me, I am an educator not an enforcer and made another massive change.

A friend said to me “you should be a personal trainer, with your enthusiasm and determination you could get anyone to do anything, like run a marathon”.

I looked into this and quickly realised this would involve me doing a lot of running round fields in order to qualify. I don’t mind a bit of exercise but… really!! I began to think about how else I could use these skills and decided coaching and tutoring was just ‘me’. So I have gone back to teaching roots, gained a diploma in Life Coaching and started my own business – Michelle’s Pathways To…

I am passionate about helping people achieve their potential at school and in life. I absolutely love tutoring, it’s pure teaching, being able to focus on a child’s needs. Coaching is amazing. I get a real buzz from seeing people achieve their targets and dreams.

I pride myself on my skills of empathy, honesty, listening, positivity, patience, enthusiasm, fairness and reliability. I would love to help you or your child on the pathway to success, happiness, confidence and fulfilment. Please contact me to begin your journey.
